Why does everyone who draws the women from the series make them have man faces? No offense but her face is a man face! It's all bulky and thick!

"Why does everyone who draws the women from the series make them have man faces?" - To say 'everyone' draws them with manly features is a bit harsh don't you think. I know I've uploaded a few drawings on the SOT series on deviantArt and perhaps those are the drawings you've seen and are speaking about.

"No offense but her face is a man face! It's all bulky and thick!" - Nope, none taken. :bow: Chalk it up to my lack of artistic skill. :D

Yeah..I'm sorry if it came out rude. It probably did. I just...I don't know. They are described as having more feminine people in the series so I...I just...There is no excuse for me to have been so rude. I'm really sorry.

My only issue is you grouped and lumped all SOT artwork, in regards to the women of the SOT universe as being masculine and/or having angular features. I've have briefly looked through the SOT artwork on DA and I didn't come to the same conclusion. Now, if you made that comment only after looking at my works of art, then direct your comment only to me and not to generalize all SOT artwork based on my work, it wouldn't be fair to the other artists.

As I've stated I personally took no offence to your comment and you have no need to apologize to me. You gave your opinion after all and everyone is entitled to them. So, no worries. ;) :hug:

I saw this a while back, but never commented. Ive got to say, She's beautiful and she reminds me a bit of C.C. Babcock. And the dress is just so intricate. I love it.

"...the dress is just so intricate. I love it." - LOL. Thanks for that. I wasn't sure if it would turn out okay. I stated in another post that I'm not much of a concept artist, and fashion or even outfit designs I'm piss poor. But a few stitches here and there an viola, it came out alright. [sighs] ^^;

"im a failure at drawing humans" - Your profile states you are 13 yrs old. No one expects you to draw the human figure anatomically correct. And no one starts out drawing on the same level as the masters. As you grow up you will go through phases, be it friends, schools, style of dress, kinds of music or whatever the case may be. And artistic style is no exception. You draw the way you do now and will improve and evolve along the way. Your style now is of the Chibi type, on the next phase it maybe manga or comicbook style, then after that portraiture or even full blown human anatomical studies with live models. But it will improve and change. But this I know to be true, you need to practice practice practice. Your skill is like that of a knife or pencil, over time it gets dull. So when that happens you have to sharpen it with practice practice practice...[catching breath] So go out there and draw. :D
